Introduction

There is little published information on the effectiveness of recommended BMPs, applied alone or in combination, on urban stormwater flowing into the Bow River Basin or the cost-effectiveness of those BMPs with regard to their capital, operating and maintenance. As a result, there is considerable scope for research and monitoring. Perhaps the most significant issue will be to priorize the needed work.
